BleeFoot Football Manager

BleeFoot is a homebrew football manager for the Super Nintendo. Pick one of 16 clubs, build your squad, set your tactics and lead your club from the second division to the title.

No spreadsheets, no waiting. Choose your eleven, sign a few players, kick off and watch the match unfold minute by minute. Change the plan at halftime. Then do it all again next season.

🧩 How to Play

• Two divisions of 8 clubs. Each season has 14 rounds and you play every club of your division home and away.
• A win is worth 3 points, a draw 1 point.
• The top 2 of Division 2 go up. The bottom 2 of Division 1 go down.
• Only your 11 starters play. Players add SKL (45–99) to attack and defense depending on their position.
• Before each match pick a tactic: DEFENSIVE, BALANCED or ATTACKING. You can change it at halftime.
• Earn TV and gate money, pay wages every round and use the transfer market to strengthen the squad.
• At the end of every season you see the final standings of both divisions, get prize money for your position and a $200K bonus if the season's top scorer plays for you.
• Every season players get older: youngsters improve, veterans decline and retire.

💾 How to Run

Download the .smc file (64 KB LoROM, NTSC, 4 KB battery save) and open it in a Super Nintendo emulator. Tested on Snes9x and bsnes (the same cores used by RetroArch), at 60 Hz and 50 Hz.

This is the suggested achievement set. BleeFoot is a season-based manager, so a few of them ask for a longer career (several seasons with the same club).
